C - How did you guys meet?
C&E - We actually met on the dating sites! Bumble was our app of choice, funnily enough we actually matched on Tinder first, but only really started talking after we matched a second time on bumble.
C - Was it love at first sight?
Charlie - It definitely was for me. After spending all night with Erryna, I knew that I had found someone exceptionally special and I actually put all my cards on the table after our second date!
Erryna - Not at first sight because he called me buddy when greeting me, but after hanging out all night talking about everything and anything, I fell in love.
C - Can you share a quirky habit of each other that you find cute or endearing?
Charlie always breaks into dance when cooking.
Erryna loves hiding and scaring me. I'll often come home from work and she will be hiding behind the door and as I walk in she'll jump out and scare me - which I hate at the time but in hindsight I love the suspense.
4. What's something surprising you've learned about each other since being together?
Erryna - His patience. Charlie was quite headstrong when I first met him. But over the years he’s grown to be so patient and understanding.
Charlie - The most surprising thing that I learnt was her absolute obsession with asian food. When we first met we always would have a mix of cuisines but over the years I have learnt that for her 'rice is life' and she needs at least 3x asian meals a week to remain happy. As someone that doesn't always feel like asian, this has been an interesting learning experience as we try to navigate who's cooking and what we are eating each night.
C - If you could describe your relationship using only 3 words, what would they be?
Charlie - Wholesome, Laughter, Adventure
Erryna - Laughter, Warm and food
C - What's the most spontaneous thing you've done together?
C&E - We’re not a very spontaneous couple. I like planning everything to the second and Charlie overthinks any risky activity.
C&E - If we are spontaneous it is often in the context of food - so jumping in the car and driving across the city to get sweet treats late at night.
C - And lastly, where did you get engaged?
C&E - We had the most beautiful private beachfront dinner in the most beautiful hotel in Langkawi, Malaysia!
