SHE SAID YES - LENA & LEON

SHE SAID YES - LENA & LEON
CP - How did you guys meet?

L&L - We met in High-school at age 15, we where best frinds before eventually becoming inseparable.

CP - Was it love at first sight?

Lena - For me, yes! Although we started out as friends, I knew he was the one. Thankfully, he caught up eventually!

Leon - Not quite for me, but there was definitely something about her from the beginning.

CP - Can you share a quirky habit of each other that you find cute or endearing?

Lena -  its not really a habit but the way Leon aways makes me a little snacks so I dont get 'hangry'.

Leon -  Lena has an incredible talent for putting everything away in the "right place"... which means I spend half my life asking where my stuff has gone. Apparently, it's exactly where it should be!

CP - What's something surprising you've learned about each other since being together?

Lena - We've been together for along time, but I'm still amazed by how much knowledge Leon has and retains. He's incredibly clever and talented.

Leon - Lena has such a naturally caring heart. She has an instinct for making everyone around her feel loved, supported, and looked after, no matter what she's going through herself. And watching her become the best dog mum to our puppy, George, after insisting she never wanted a dog, has been pretty special.

CP - If you could describe your relationship using only 3 words, what would they be?

L&L - Entertaining Loyal Home

CP - What's the most spontaneous thing you've done together?

L - That's a hard one! We'd probably say travelling together, or doing the Nevis Swing in Queenstown. I (Lena) never imagined I'd be brave enough to do something like that, but Leon encouraged me, and I'm so glad I did. It's a memory we'll never forget.

CP - And lastly, where did you get engaged?

L&L - We got engaged at Pukematekeo Lookout in the Waitākere Ranges on 28 November 2015. It was quiet, beautiful, and completely us.
