This greenstone necklace, with its circular and polished design, pays homage to Hinekapea, the goddess of loyalty, and embodies the essence of unwavering faithfulness and steadfast commitment. As the sister of the great demigod Māui, she stands as a symbol of enduring devotion and the profound importance of loyalty in Māori culture.
